Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We use books in our classroom throughout the entire day to support our overall development. My students learn through hands-on opportunities and visual supports. These books and storytelling kit will help me continue teaching my students about social emotional well-being through books and songs.

The goals for this project are to allow my students to have access to books in the library or in the cozy corner to help them regulate emotions.

It will also allow for more teacher directed read-aloud opportunities. My students enjoy pretending to read and being read to. We truly all enjoy books in our classroom!
