Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To increase literacy skills for our early childhood students my school began a Literacy Cluster class which I am leading. Our scholars love to listen to their teachers read them stories as well as watching them on the smartboard. My goal is to help my future readers by giving them the skills they need to become strong readers so that they can enjoy reading books independently and to others. I plan to do that by using literacy games. Children learn through play. While they are visiting my classroom, I want them to learn while they have fun and work cooperatively with others.
