My Students

Keep us busy! I'm switching from Kindergarten to 4th grade next year and I find myself starting from scratch. My students will be able to do more - so I want to push them more, and give them freedom to learn independently.

My students are native English speakers who have been immersed in an all-Spanish curriculum since Kindergarten.

They come to our school from every neighborhood in the city, and once they arrive, they born learn a new language and all about the world's cultures. They are curious, self-reliant and eager to learn.

My Project

My students need a system to keep their literacy center projects organized and easily accessible, so they can work independently and I can focus on guided reading. These materials are a teacher's dream. Students can quickly and easily save their writing, projects and more in the stackable storage systems. Sorting work by student will also help me assess student progress easily and often. I can keep my guided reading group books and student folders separate in the organizing bins. And the folders give students a highly effective visual of the writing process: they can actually see the improvement they make with each step.

Please help my fourth graders take ownership of their own learning!

Centers time is a key opportunity for them to practice crucial skills. These materials will help them become the best writers, readers and editors they can be!
