Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning is so much more than just finding an answer--it's about collaborating with our classmates, making our thinking visible and sharing our thoughts. It's important for our students to see themselves in the classroom & be proud of who they are. We spend a lot of time learning through engaging & interactive centers guided through small group instruction. These centers will provide an engaging & interactive opportunities for all learners to participate. These resources will provide engaging & hands on opportunities for centers—letter tiles for manipulating & baskets, binders & folders to keep it all organized!

So many children are growing up and saying "I'm not smart" or “I can’t do this” because they struggled to make sense of their learning at a young age.

To combat this, we want to develop a sense of love and engagement in mathematics & reading so our students grow up LOVING to learn and fulfill their potential as engineers, mathematicians, scientists, artists and anything else they can imagine.
