Help Mrs. Bellamy

I teach a second grade class of twenty-three students, located in a rural community in North Carolina. I have several ESL children in my classroom as well as other children with special learning needs.

Due to the economic situation our country is currently facing, our school district has frozen all funding for language and literacy supplies that my students are in great need of. In order to make learning literacy fun and exciting, we really need these grammar games, puzzles, literacy centers and phonemic awareness hands on activities! The children will learn so much while being actively engaged!

Due to the many different learning styles they have, I need these materials to help meet their diverse needs. They would use these materials daily in centers to help them learn literacy as well as develop a true love for reading.

This donation would make such a difference in the lives of my students. It would help them develop many crucial skills such as phonemic awareness, vocabulary, language and other important reading skills. We would greatly appreciate any donation you could possibly make. Thank you.
