My Project

The items in the project will help meet the mandate to read. Students will read about characters who are just like them. They will understand that real-life situations can be expressed in writing and may be turned into a book. The books will be used in the units of study taught this year.

High-interest books lead to high academic performance.

As a class, we will meet the expectations of our district and city when trying to meet the literacy challenge in the inner city. My scholars are special because they are self-motivated and show up daily, ready to embark on the road to success.
