My Project

My Kindergarten students love learning centers. Students rotate through our centers each and every day. These different centers give students a wide variety of learning opportunities. They enjoy collaborating and learning independently. I want to add fun, and engaging hands-on reading, writing, and math centers to reinforce skills as well as to differentiate and strengthen their knowledge.

With these new centers, my students will be able to choose from a variety of activities that will allow them to practice reading, writing, counting, sorting, and much more.

The materials for our learning centers will be used during our Literacy & Math Center Block.

Reading/Writing:

Learning Resources Alphabet Soup Sorters, Really Good Stuff Tap and Track Dolch Sight Word Sentence Cards, Word Pop CVC Words Games, and all other literacy materials will help students develop skills in phonics, CVC words, decoding, reading & writing. Our classrooms TPT gift card will be used to purchase additional center resources, materials, and printables created by like educators who are well aware of the social, emotional, and academic growth that comes with well planned out centers for lower grade students.

Math:

Learning Resources Three Bear Family Sort, Pattern & Play Activity Set, Learning Resources Counting Dino-Sorters Math Activity Set, LITTLE BUD KIDS Counting Pegs, and all other math center materials requested

will help students practice counting and learning to visualize quantities. These will also help students visualize and solve addition and subtraction problems.

Your donation of Literacy & Math Center materials will help our Kindergarten students grow independently in so many areas. Please support our project!
