My Project

My students are 11 to 14 years-old but are all functioning on a much lower level academically, they deserve access to all the opportunities they can get.

All of my students have limited social skills and have significant learning deficits.

My students are often frustrated because they cannot express themselves. Many times they struggle to keep up with the other students because they cannot participate in the same ways. I work tremendously hard to expose them to as many experiences within my means, however this is getting harder and harder.

My students are diagnosed with learning and emotional disabilities. They learn and respond positively to curriculum that is visual, kinesthetic and allows them to practice their skills repeatedly.

I am requesting headphones and keyboards to allow my students to hear the material presented to them on their tablets to learn to read and write.
