Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the privilege to teach almost 200 students a day. My students are divided into 6 different sections. Each section that I teach have a wide range of students with different needs and abilities. One school resource we use daily is Study Island. Students are exposed to reading skills on their own individual level which means each student is reading a different passage daily. Unfortunately, my students do not have earbuds or headphones to hook up to their school laptop. I believe the students would increase their reading readiness if they were able to hear the words being read to them. Please help my students with the gift of ear buds so they can concentrate and improve their reading.
