My Project

I have the privilege of teaching an incredibly dynamic and adventurous group of 4th graders. They come to class each day with an eagerness to learn and give their best effort to succeed. They aren’t afraid of a challenge, and each one brings unique strengths to the classroom, both academically and outside of school.

My students embrace opportunities to use headphones along with their chrome book as tools for learning.

It keeps them engaged and has proven to enhance their skills. The look of success on their faces when they accomplish something is priceless. While they are learning from me, I am equally learning from them as they consistently prove that success is their only option!

Throughout the school day, my students use their Chromebooks for activities like iReady, Accelerated Reading, and other teacher-assigned tasks across three different subjects: Math, ELA, and Science. Many of these activities require headphones to ensure that other students aren’t distracted by audio. If I have a classroom set of headphones for each student in the two math classes I teach, every student will have the opportunity to engage fully with their learning, listen attentively, and respond to assignments without disturbing others.
