My Students

My students are a mixed group of amazing first graders.

They range in ability level from far below grade level to way above grade level. The students in my class attend a charter school, where we work on educating the whole child with hands on, interactive learning where we use the city as our classroom.

My Project

In my classroom I currently have 10 tablets, 2 computers and a few other pieces of technology that require headphones, that the students use on a daily basis in many different ways. However, we only have 5 pairs of working headphones. This makes listening and focusing on their work rather hard. Having enough headphones for all of my devices would allow my students to be able to focus on their own work rather then be distracted by their friends when they are working. It would allow more students to be able to use the different apps and programs on the devices to supplement their learning.

Your generous donations would help bring more headphones into my technology driven 21st century classroom.
