Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to read and they love reading using different platforms. They read good old-fashioned print and also enjoy listening to audio books. I also have a range of learners in my class that would benefit from having access to audio books to encourage their love of reading.

I want every child in my class regardless of reading level to have access to engaging literature!

With these headphones even my struggling readers will be able to interact with grade level texts and materials. These headphones will allow all students in my class to be independent and explore books of a range of topics. Having access to audio books will broaden the range of materials that they can use not only for independent reading time but also for the research projects that we do in class.

Up until now, my class has been using dollar-store headphones because that is all I can afford with my personal budget. The quality is so cheap, we go through multiple pairs throughout the school year. I would love to be able to have a high quality class set that can be used for multiple years.
