My Project

This project will provide two tablets, headphones, headphone splitters, cases, and stands for our class to upgrade our listening station. We currently have an older CD player that was gifted to me by a retired teacher. My kindergarten students struggle with being able to run this station on their own while I'm working with small groups. It's hard for them to put the CDs in and get the CD player turned on.

Upgrading our station will allow for a better flow and more efficient small group time.

Small groups/stations are a part of our everyday routine in kindergarten. Making sure they run smoothly and effectively for my students is key to keeping the classroom management orderly and in place. My students love to listen to books online and follow along with a speaker as they read. Having a tablet where we can utilize e-books and websites, like Epic, more effectively and will be so beneficial to my students' reading and literacy goals.
