This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! My last project was also for headphones; I am very grateful it was funded and sponsored! This year I am working in a different school and our classroom needs headphones for our kiddos! It has been a struggle having our students listen to stories and record themselves with so much background noise since they are all trying to read and record simultaneously. Our kiddos are part of an amazing community and enjoy reading! Asking them to bring their headphones from home is not an option as many of them are from low-income homes.

Many of our reading outlets are through apps and we use our technology daily during independent reading and centers.

Having a class set of headphones will help our students stay focused during reading time and will help maintain the noise level during centers. Our students are always happy when they come to school and eager to learn! Thank you!
