This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My school is a title I school located in Franklin, La. My class is made up of 30 kindergarten students who are an incredible group. My students are creative, smart, and eager to learn. My classroom is so much brighter because of them. To aid in their learning, I am requesting headphones.

Headphones will help to eliminate outside distractions while students are learning.

Headphones will aid students when listening to social stories. Headphones would also be useful to students while working in centers. Often, my students struggle to focus on their own work due to distractions around them.
