My Students

Our classroom does not have a listening center. The listening center would provide students with the opportunity to hear stories and engage in conversations with classmates about the stories. It also gives the students a different medium from which to learn.

Our school is a Maryland Title I school.

They are a wonderful group of children who are excited about school and love to guide their own learning. The listening center would provide that autonomy. Our school struggles to provide all the necessary supplies that are needed on a daily basis.

My Project

The listening center would provide students with the opportunity to hear stories and be able to engage in conversations with classmates about the stories. It also gives the students a different medium from which to learn which is exciting and engaging.

I have not been able to provide a listening center for my students which limits their exposure to a variety of books.

Having a listening center will build their comprehension, vocabulary, and general love for books. Please make this possible for my students.
