My students need The Magic School Bus Read-Alongs and two junction box to increase their reading and comprehension levels while at the listening center.
Our Title 1 school is located in an impoverished area. We are in close proximity to the Fort Bragg military base. My classroom is in need of the requested materials to further students' academic success and build their literary experiences. My students are not as privileged as others, but want to learn.
Our school is in a tight knit, rural community.
We are working to increase parental involvement. We take our responsibility to educate all students seriously. We work hard to help students envision and become the best that they can be.
My Project
My students need the requested Magic School Bus Read-Alongs and two junction boxes to increase their reading and comprehension levels while at the listening center. My students will use the materials in our classroom to boost their reading comprehension skills. They will read and listening to their books to build background knowledge on topics learned in class, and build vocabulary. They will also be able to use these materials to build fluency and accuracy in their reading. The junction boxes will be used by my students so that we can have more than one listening center in our classroom.
Your donation will help provide more quality instructional materials for my students.
These books will have a positive impact on my students' reading, science, and other literary experiences. The junction boxes will help students that are reading below grade level, to be exposed to grade level texts and topics at the listening center.
