Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My second graders and I will be connecting in the fall through online learning. We will work together and communicate through our screens. The lessons will be held in our own homes but we will still be together virtually.

Learning from home will require hearing each other through our devices clearly.

My Project

Because of the worldwide pandemic, our school building will be closed but our learning will continue online. We will begin our year together seeing and hearing each other through screens. Having a quiet space for learning has been a challenge for my students.

My students need noise-canceling headphones for distance learning so that we may hear each other clearly and effectively.

With headphones, my students will be able to focus, listen, and comprehend the lessons and discussions that will be given in the fall. Headphones will help them process their learning without distractions from household sounds.
