My Project

I am a special education teacher in NY. My school is an Early Childhood Center that ranges from Pre-K to Grade 2. We have a large population of English language learners. The staff at our school pride ourselves on creating a love of learning in young children so they may carry it with them throughout their lives.

The students in my class have been diagnosed with disabilities such as speech and language disorders, learning disabilities, and delays in motor skills.

They have several different learning styles, and it is often a challenge to meet the specific needs of each and every child.

We have moved into a time where students' learning can be pushed further through digital applications. I am requesting a class set of headphones that students can use to quietly read and watch content to deepen their learning of new topics. We also can use the headphones to complete digital assessments that give the teachers results that can help differentiate instruction throughout the year.

We are grateful for your support for our classroom and look forward to continuing the excitement for learning in our 2nd graders!
