My Project
My students will develop greater listening skills while using read along CD stories, the CD player and headphones. They will develop a love of literature and language. Students will have an opportunity to visit the listening center as a class rotation. We will incorporate the stories they listen to into our literacy block. I expect to see increased interest and excitement about stories, how they make you feel, what you can learn from them, and the development of genre preferences. Hearing stories and language is a crucial skill in the development of master readers. My class will surely benefit from a listening center
