This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are from Trenton, NJ and are full of personality. I teach Special Education English to 32 creative, and fun-loving students. They love hands-on and interactive lessons, but many students are not fortunate enough to have the supplies to complete their assignments at home or in school. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! My students are compassionate, loving and full of curiosity!
My Project
My students light up when they succeed at learning in the classroom! After the year we've just had, we're excited to get back to the classroom and succeed. We use a great reading program that requires the students to challenge themselves on a daily basis by listening, interacting and recording their voices. With the help of your donation for headphones, my students can practice their reading skills and feel confident doing so! Reading is such a valuable skill, and can help students across the educational board! Thank you in advance for your thoughtfulness!
