My Students

In my STEM classroom we do a lot of group work with technology. It would be great to have some headphones and splitters to use with our ipads!

My class is a group of 2nd graders that are techno savvy!

This group of kids could do just about anything you ask them to do on an iPad. (I learn how to do something new from them almost daily!) In our classroom we have a mixture of kids from low socioeconomic to middle class. Our school is a STEM school so therefore we are a 1:1 campus with iPads provided by our district.

My Project

My students will be able to use the headphones with their iPads. The splitters will enable us to be able to work with a partner on one iPad with both able to hear. My students will also be able to use the headphones in my Reading class when they do Daily 5. They will be able to use them in the listening center to listen to a story being read to them either by their self or with a partner by using a splitter.

This project will be able to help my students by providing us with a good set of earphones to use in our classroom.

A lot of my students do not have the money to buy a pair to have at school. This will also help the noise level in our classroom where students will be able to read while other students are listening to a story or working in a group with me and the noise will not cause a distraction .
