This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a class of bright, inquisitive second graders. I want to give them the best education possible and provide them with all of the resources they deserve. In this day and age, that involves using all of the technology tools at our disposal. One of the simplest and easiest ways to do that is to make sure all of my students can clearly hear what is being taught.

I want to provide my class with a powerful bluetooth speaker that will enable all of the students to hear the lessons.

So often we use videos and online resources to enhance our lessons, but the tiny laptop speakers are not nearly powerful enough. With a classroom speaker I can make sure that all of the kids are able to hear and access the learning. Additionally, we can use the wireless capabilities of the speaker to travel to the auditorium or the playground and play music for dance assemblies and holiday programs. A classroom speaker is the missing piece of technology that my students need.
