My Project

I not only strive to have my students work collaboratively, but I'm also trying to guide them to work independently, as it is a lifetime skill. I plan to have my students use the headphones when they're working independently online.

With headsets, they can comfortably work on their own as they listen to prompts, instructions, articles, or music without distracting their classmates.

Class discussions, group activities, and guided practices are all excellent learning strategies, but working independently is just as effective and may also give students some needed "down" time where they can think and process on their own.

I truly believe they would benefit from something as simple as putting on a headset and working on their own.
