Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to listen to stories, but 15 people listening to different recordings without headphones is chaotic. Parents try to send the least expensive items they can find, usually earbuds from the dollar store.

Even though the sound quality is OK, the smallest buds are too big for their little ears and they get frustrated trying to keep them in.

Full headphones would be best, but the classroom set I started out with was very flimsy and didn’t last from September to November. Right now, we have nothing. Please help us all have a better experience where we can focus on listening to stories instead of struggling to hear them. I’d love to bring back Storytime Center!
