My Students

"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go!" -Dr. Seuss Reading is an incredible journey and adventure in our classroom. We need your help so that we can go to even more places!

We love to read.

Period. We pride ourselves on how many words we know how to read and how many books we have gotten through in a week! And not only that, we read in Spanish, which can make finding listening center materials rather difficult. We are a dual immersion kindergarten classroom that loves to discover the world around us.

My Project

Center activities are incredibly important for our students across the board. They provide students with the small group time they need to practice and master essential skills such as reading, writing, blending, and comprehension. My students need more read-along materials and a Comfy Corner Listening Center for our listening center and library! With these materials, we will have a more complete and comprehensive listening center. Students will be able to practice their concepts of print by listening to a story while following along in a book.

Donations to this project will greatly help our classroom.

We need more materials to listen to stories and practice tracking words and answering comprehension questions. My students will be able improve their reading and boost their confidence in their reading.
