My Project

My students are learning about diverse cultures from around the world and they need exposure to the various musical elements and instruments that help to bind these cultures as a unit.

Students will read literature books, listen to multicultural music from the bluetooth speaker, and learn to play rhythmic musical instruments in cooperative groups and as part of a whole group learning circle.

The musical resources will also be integrated during cross curriculum class time instruction as learning activities are incorporated in subjects areas such as Language Arts, Math, Performing Arts, Social Sciences, and P.E. This musical instruments will also be used throughout the academic school year as part of our school-wide performances.
