My Students

It's a new year and I have some wonderful kids eager to learn. My students come from two communities in the same county in Middle Georgia. We have a wonderful representation from many demographics at our school.

I am back in the Music Classroom and am excited to give my students some very hands on activities this year.

Last year they did not get to use instruments or leave their classrooms for music. This year we are back in the music classroom.

My Project

For 2021-2022 I have incorporated several centers in my General Music Classes for my 2nd - 5th grade students. One of my centers in a Computer Center. I have 10 computers available for my students and am needing some headphones for them to use. Some of the activities the students are able to do at the center are: online games to learn music skills, rhythm practice activities, playing virtual instruments: piano, xylophone & more. Reading is also incorporated into this center using books available at GetEpic featuring music topics about composers, instrument families, musician biographies, and fictional stories with musical topics.
