My Project
I greatly appreciate the energy of middle school students, even though it can sometimes be challenging to channel that energy productively. It is truly rewarding to witness a student recognize their own achievements and discoveries. One of the foundational principles of the EAST program is that students take ownership of their learning. EAST also asserts that students are more likely to be engaged and invested in their education when it revolves around their personal passions. Consequently, in EAST classes, students have a say in their learning topics, leading to a variety of diverse learning objectives within the classroom. Moreover, the reality we face, both in education and in the broader world, is characterized by increasing distractions, limited time, and heightened expectations.
Your generous donation and support of this project will enable students to achieve all the objectives of EAST while minimizing distractions, enhancing engagement, and fostering mutual respect.
It will provide students with the opportunity to develop skills as graphic designers, photographers, videographers, philanthropists, and change-makers in a collaborative environment. Furthermore, it will allow students who may not have fully grasped certain concepts to revisit the material without disrupting the learning experiences of their peers.
