My Students

We currently have a total of 29 students in our classroom. Our student body consists of students with disabilities, as well as, general education students.

Most of our students receive free lunch and many come from families that struggle financially.

Our school is located in an urban setting where many of the children have witnessed violence, drug use and in some cases, even murder.

Despite all that they go through and experience on a daily basis, our students remain hopeful. They come to school every day with the intent of succeeding in life and they operate with purpose and determination. The Tenacious Learning Lizards never give up!

My Project

If you listen carefully, learning is happening all around us! As a teacher in an ICT classroom, it is vitally important that my classroom lessons and activities address the needs of my visual, auditory and tactile learners.

The Bose SoundTouch Speaker will provide life like quality sound to my lessons wherever they may occur!

The flexibility of the speaker will improve help to improve the sound quality of the classroom Smartboard. It will also give my students the opportunity to enjoy quality sound as we take our learning outside of the classroom. When I teach my students I use a multi-sensory approach to solidify their understanding of a subject. The Bose Bluetooth Speaker will help them to Listen and Learn!
