My Project

In the art classroom, students are introduced to many different art forms, one of which is painting. We will create a painting of a lion, tiger, or bear (student choice) in their natural habitat.

As a teacher of students with differing motor skills and learning levels, I see students struggle daily with the art supplies in the classroom.

Thin-handled paint brushes and open containers of paint are prohibitive, cause frustration, and detract from the creative process.

I strive to create a classroom environment that supports diversity and individuality. I want the students to know and feel that they are valued. It's amazing what something as simple as no-spill paint cups and large round brushes can accomplish!
