My Project

I am a reading teacher and interventionist in a wonderful school. My students are exceptional, and I love going to school everyday to see the sparkle in my students' eyes. I also get to connect with students of various ages during and after school. I truly have the most special job in the world and treasure every day with my students! My students love to read and explore many different topics. They are curious and love to learn! My students are amazing!

I am very passionate about and dedicated to teaching reading and writing!

I have been putting so much work and volunteer time into doing diagnostic assessments with our first-graders, and I am working on plans that will help all of our students grow so much in the area of literacy. I am requesting some items that will help me to help my students learn, including a CELF-5 screening test to use to assess language abilities as a baseline and progress monitor for my students, colorful pens so that I can create neat notes for my students and for myself, a recorder and case, so that I can record their reading and speaking and play it back for them, and a laptop stand to help me to set my computer at a level that works better for my students and myself, primary composition notebooks, tabs and markers so that they can practice encoding, decoding and writing, a memory card so that students can watch our photos back on the big screen, green and red crayons for writing their new words, erasers, erasing tape, and pencils for writing and erasing. I would really appreciate getting these items for my classroom. They are necessities that would really help help my students to learn. Thank you for your consideration.
