Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The dry erase tables will allow students to use reading strategies while learning how to put individual sounds together to develop words. Words will then be put together to create sentences. Sentences put together to tell their community, grandparents and care givers stories they could not even imagine.

My goal for this project to to create a learning environment with limitless ways for students to explore reading and writing.

Students will no longer have to waste valuable learning time waiting on papers to be passed out. They can go directly to the tables, open colorful dry erase markers and begin to learn and create.

My students are special because they are each individuals with the ability to dream their own dreams…create their own stories…learn in their own unique ways. They no longer have to wait for a cookie cutter worksheet, they can begin to open their minds to endless learning without a fear of making a mistake.
