Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school uses Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) to encourage our student to build up their positive character traits. Rewarding students with fun events at school motivates students to like school and be excited about learning. Spring is coming! Our Fun Spring Event will give us the opportunity to celebrate student successes. I already have class certificates in my class that I will use to write compliments for students. I will give certificates to students that are kind and respectful. I encourage student's to engage in pro-social behaviors. I am always excited when I hear students using kind word and being respectful toward others. Greeting others and saying thank you is wonderful!

The items in this project are decorations for our Fun Spring event.

This project also has items that will be PBIS rewards. Students will get LED Flowers Wreaths, Light Up Bracelets and Mini Flashlight. These bracelets have a flower that spins. When the flower spins , the flower lights up and creates a kaleidoscope of color. Students will take these items home because these are PBIS rewards.

This project includes decorations. Lamps that are LED Trees will capture students imaginations. Light Curtains that have LED lights and string of LED lights that showcase stars will be nice decorations. I am hoping to get a 10 Feet Fairy Light. Students will make colorful paper mache flowers and we will attach them to the sting of light. This project includes colorful paper mache to make paper mache flowers. We will use the double sides sticky tape too. It will be fun to put up mylar balloons, and display balloons that stand on a plastic base. Thank you for supporting my project and thank you for caring about my students interest in having positive character traits and participating in fun events.
