My Students

My adventurous first graders are eager to learn new things as well as show their knowledge to others!

My first graders are wonderful children with a willingness to learn!

Majority of my students are bussed in from an urban setting. We have a 87% poverty rate. Our school qualifies for the free lunch program. Many of the school's students are English Language Learners. The community which they reside has a heavy gang presence. Each day my students have a zest for learning!

My Project

I am requesting 1 document camera for our everyday routines. The document reader allows me to project lessons and my students' work. This bit of technology is one of the vital pieces that provide my students with clear expectations of the lesson. Students can also showcase their work with their peers explaining their knowledge and thoughts.

I will be able to present valuable lessons for my students to reach new educational heights! The document reader will also support the implementation of the Common Core Standards.
