My Students

Our classroom has a group of highly diverse and energetic second graders in a suburban Los Angeles charter school. We love to learn. We are hard workers and try our best in all subject areas. Our classroom has future scientists, writers, artists, and firefighters in it. Along with doctors, lawyers, nurses and maybe even a teacher or two. Their futures are as bright as a LED light! But we can’t do it alone. We need your help to make our dreams come true.

My Project

With this document camera my students will be able to see what I am writing and thus make their online learning experience much more pleasurable and valuable. Last spring, when we started online learning I had to hold the work we did together up to the camera on the computer. It was very awkward and hard for my student to see what I wanted them to do. The worksheets, books, and pages will be on the screen and much easier for second graders to read and write on their own.
