Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I chose will help teach my students how to learn and grow for this year and years to come! The computer desk is for our desktop computer for all to use. The desk is safe place for the students as well as the computer. It will help properly store the computer while teaching the students how to sit properly while working. They love our program called Typing Club which helps them learn about the keys and how to type. Flat feet on the ground, eyes up, fingers ready is what is important while students type on the computer. This computer desk will secure how they work in this grade and for their careers in the future! The automatic camera will be used for first day of school pictures, back to school night, open house and as well as our "hello wall" which will be used for our daily journal writing. They will learn how to write a greeting note to their peers; whether it is a quick thank you note to a friend or an opinion piece, the students will feel confident that their pictures our in the class for a quick reference which promotes learning and builds confidence!
