Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic, driven, fifth-grade students. They are highly motivated and love being engaged when learning in multiple subject areas. My awesome class consists of mixed ability academic learners. My school is a Title 1 school where teachers and parents are equally involved in helping these students prepare for college and beyond. Most students receive free or reduced lunch.

My awesome fifth graders are eager learners and are always willing to put in 100% effort into anything they do.

They do this with great enthusiasm. Throughout this Distance Learning time, they have proven that they are eager to learn just as if they were still in our classroom.

My Project

The document camera will allow me to connect it to my computer at home so I can better project assignments, materials, and examples of content instead of holding up and waving papers or objects in front of the built-in laptop camera.

Just like in the classroom, I will be able to project documents onto the laptop screen for easier access to learning and reviewing content.

I will be able to help students by projecting examples and strategies to help with conceptual understanding. This is turn will be more concrete and will help with learning.
