This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my K-8 students is their creativity, curiosity, and passion for making a positive difference in our school community. They are eager learners who thrive when given opportunities to express themselves and take on leadership roles. Students are part of our school's PBSIS (Positive Behavior Support in Schools) program, where they actively work to promote kindness, respect, and inclusivity throughout our school.

The Sony ZV-1F vlog camera will play a critical role in helping students bring their ideas to life.- With this resource, they will have the tools to create professional-quality videos and commercials that highlight our PBSIS initiatives, celebrate positive behaviors, and build school spirit.

The camera will allow them to develop valuable skills such as storytelling, video production, and collaboration-skills that extend far beyond the classroom and will serve them well in the future.

My goal for this project is to empower my students to take ownership of their learning and to give them a platform to amplify their voices. By using the camera, they will engage in meaningful, real-world projects that enhance their technical and creative skills while making a lasting impact on their peers.

What makes these students special is their drive to make out school a better place for everyone. They are leaders in their own right, and this project will help them shine even brighter. With your support, we can inspire a culture of positivity and creativity that reaches every corner of our school community.
