My Students

I teach in a Title I school in an urban hub where funding oftentimes hinder my students ability to have access to costly technological, artistic, and/or general learning supplies. My students are creative, high-spirited and artistic introspective learners that enjoy demonstrating their learning through various forms, however oftentimes my students do not have access to those applications because a large number of them come from low income households. I prefer to teaching using visual and engaging applications because it allow me to enhance my students grasp on complex historical content while simultaneously teaching a new technological and style set.

When my students are presented with an opportunity to learning through engaging means they are able to demonstrate their understanding using technological and visual applications they really excel.

My Project

I am a high energy and engaging teacher and with the help of the lighting circle and high quality microphone I will be able to ensure clarity of my voice during instruction.

This project will also allow my students to have engaging learning resources through TeacherPayTeacher activities and quality reading resources that will enhance literacy provided in the workbook requested.

These resources will enable me to create learning activities that will encourage learning for some of my students that will struggle with virtual learning. These materials will serve as guidance that will aid in my creativity as I delve into virtual teaching.
