My Project

My students are bright, creative, and eager to learn, but they face unique challenges as special education students in a fully self-contained classroom. I love their enthusiasm and I'm passionate about providing them opportunities to express themselves and develop valuable skills. Our Creative Media class is designed to do just that, and with the addition of three tripods, three iPads, and three iPad tripod mounts, we can take our learning to the next level.

These resources will make a significant difference in my students' learning.

The tripods will provide stability for filming and photography, allowing students to capture clear, focused images and videos. This is especially important for students who may have difficulty with fine motor skills. The iPads will serve as our all-in-one creative studios, enabling students to film, edit, and share their work. The iPad mounts will allow for hands-free recording and provide different angles for stop-motion animation projects. These tools will empower my students to explore storytelling, visual communication, and technical skills like filming and editing.

We'll be creating a variety of projects, including short films, stop-motion animations, digital photography projects, video blogs, and even public service announcements. These hands-on projects will help my students develop crucial skills while boosting their self-confidence and fostering collaboration. My goal is for my students to learn the basics of quality video production and photography using the types of devices they are likely to have on hand in their everyday lives. This project will not only enhance their creative expression but also equip them with practical skills for the future. By supporting this project, you'll be helping my students unlock their creative potential and discover new ways to communicate with the world.
