Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will go to support my 10 ESN T-K/Kindergarteners. My class is a diverse group of students with high needs. They need extra support to help them stay regulated, happy, and able to learn at school. This project includes items to be used with a light table we have but have not been using.

I want to use the peg boards for free choice time to let the kids explore the colors, lights, and patterns on their own.

The sorting mat will help me use the light table to academic tasks, such as patterns and sorting.

Other items in this project include a Hispanic family of dolls and a Hispanic baby doll. 90% of my students are Hispanic, so I want to have dolls and toys for them to play with that represent them.
