Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are enthusiastic learners and are ready to learn. They are five years old and eager to learn. My students are 90 percent English Language Learners. Our school population qualifies for school-wide free lunch. Our school is located in the city of Pacoima a low income population.

Since most of my students are English Language learners they learn best by having many visuals.

For this reason I am asking for a Hue projecting camera to help enhance their learning in these times of online learning due to the Corona virus pandemic.

My Tk students have made enormous academic gains and would benefit from having lessons using the Hue Projecting camera. Thank you in advance for your donations!

My Project

I never believed that I would be teaching my TK students with online resources. I have been using apps like Class Dojo to help continue the learning of these enthusiastic learners. This is definitely a new way of teaching for all of us. We must continue to find ways to make this type of learning as beneficial as possible.

The HUE camera would help me enhance my lessons.

This would allow me to project and share any realia to my students. The HUE camera would allow me to record videos of lessons or stories for my students. I am also requesting easel pads and markers for lessons. Thank you in advance for your donations!
