This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Broadcast Journalism Club is an exciting new opportunity that will empower students to become confident communicators and collaborators by producing and delivering daily morning announcements. Through hands-on experience with video production and public speaking, students will develop valuable technical and interpersonal skills that extend beyond the classroom. This project aims to spark creativity, enhance teamwork, and provide a platform for students to share important updates and celebrate achievements within the school community.

A digital video camera is crucial to the success of this program, as it will allow students to create professional-grade broadcasts while learning to use industry-standard equipment.

This hands-on experience will not only improve the quality of our productions but also equip students with practical skills in media production, fostering confidence and preparing them for future opportunities in a media-rich world.

Our students are enthusiastic, talented, and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique perspectives and creativity to every project. By participating in the Broadcast Journalism Club, they will have the chance to shine as leaders and storytellers, making a lasting impact on their peers and the school community. This program is a celebration of their potential and a pathway to building skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
