My Project

Last year, our school was unable to form a Yearbook Committee. This year, I would like the opportunity to not only start a yearbook committee, but to also help support some of our scholars in turning their everyday smartphones into tools for photography and film whenever we have school community events, performances, and class projects. They would play a major part in putting this yearbook together.

I recently learned that our school was originally a performing arts-based school.

This project would begin the process of getting our school back to what it originally was.

This project would open their minds to take photography and film seriously and give them a direction towards a bright future. If students can take selfies, film themselves, and make Tik Tok videos, why not show them how filming events can make them pillars of their school community? Once again this would greatly benefit our scholars, especially our graduates. The use of these tools will be engaging to all scholars.

This teaches our scholars to become creative with tools and devices that they already have. What a wonderful addition to STEM projects.
