My Students

Our incredible middle school students represent neighborhoods from throughout the borough of Brooklyn, New York. We also represent a unique district (District 75) within the city of New York that is comprised of students with unique abilities and challenges, and this is in addition the daily struggles and challenges that are faced by hard working families across this city. In spite of everything, our students are resilient, brilliant, and they motivate me to try to be the best version of myself each day. Please take a moment to read about our aspirations and to share the following project with others.

My Project

As we approach the Fall semester and look forward to in-person learning, we are excited to begin constructing the technology lab which we were originally hoping to establish a year ago, prior to the pandemic.

This project will support our Photography & Visual Production Center with a couple of photo strobes that we can use on location, along with a few different lighting modifiers that will allow us to get a variety of creative results.

During the Spring of this past year, rather than hire an outside portrait photography company, we did our graduation photos in-house and they were spectacular. My hope is that this coming school year, we can utilize student photographers to achieve some of these same results. Thank you so much for your support for our aspirations and achievements!
