Lighting Up the Night Sky

My Project

These Celestial Star Globes will help my students visualize how the movement of the Earth causes us to see changes in the night sky. This is a difficult concept to understand unless you are able to hold the Earth and stars in your hands.

My students will be able to "Light Up The Night Sky" to illuminate the connection between Earth's rotation and revolution and the changing patterns we see.

This is especially important in the context of learning during the pandemic. Students who are returning to the classroom need to be able to use and manipulate models that will help develop their conceptual understanding.
