My Project

Please help us light up our learning! Students will be provided the perfect learning opportunity for creative tasks, fine motor development, hand-eye coordination and pre-writing skills through the use of a light table. Light is an excellent source of visual sensory input. Children are drawn to light and can often find it calming to interact with the glow of a light table. Exploring light can evolve into explorations in literacy, math, science, and arts. Children explore how light can change, which adds interest and imagination into the environment. When intentionally adding specific materials to the light table, children are given the opportunity for open-ended exploration and creativity.
