My Project

We all hate the fluorescent lights of a classroom. It's too bright, gives students headaches, can be overstimulating and can often make a classroom feel cold. Often, we keep the overhead lights off and use a variety of different lighting to ease the eyes of our students while they work. Still, at times, the room can feel dark. How can we give our students lighting that doesn't hurt their eyes, yet still allows them more than enough to be able to work comfortably?

Warm lighting floor and table lamps is the perfect solution to combat this predicament.

With these lamps placed around the room, students will be able to work without straining their eyes in an either too bright or too dark classroom. These lamps will also help to foster a warm and welcoming classroom that students are excited to come in to everyday.

The goal of any classroom is for students to feel comfortable, seen, and encouraged to learn in meaningful ways. When students are given rooms that feel homey through lighting and flexible seating, they are more excited to be present and active in their learning.
