My Project

When the pandemic hit, performing arts at large were put on hold. Students struggled with the isolation and the inability to connect in the real world. Live performances were also affected, with their planned musical being postponed, and then canceled. In our performing arts program, PALC (Performing Arts Learning Center), our students are able to connect and work with each other as performers and technicians to put on a show. This program has been part of our school for decades, and it has helped many students feel a sense of community, camaraderie, and acceptance. Our current students are all very close, as they were quite young when COVID hit, and PALC has provided them with a safe space for them to explore and express themselves.

This specific fog machine aims to replace equipment that is no longer functional and provide special effects to the current musical project, Xanadu.
